Training and our heat policy

Heat%20Exhaustion%202[1]Welcome back to the new year. As you may know, our competition starts again this weekend. Refer to the Greenvale teams page for your match times for Saturday.

Training does resume this week, however please be mindful of the health and safety of our players and abide by our Heat Policy <click here to read>.

Take care out there and good luck for the rest of the season – remembering we have an extra couple of games this time before finals start, to bring the season into line with our school terms.

When does the new season start?

Reminder that we have no basketball matches this weekend, 9 March …. the Winter 2013 season kicks off with round 1 on Saturday 16 March.

Please check with your team manager or coach when your team starts training – and the first round of matches and venues will be available shortly.

Remember you can get your news quickly from here – make sure all your team mates have subscribed to this site by entering their email address into the spot on the right hand side of this site, then clicking in the confirmation email that will be sent … and while you’re at it, why not follow us on facebook too!!

Summer season 2012-13 fixtures are here!

Fixtures are now on-line for Rounds 1-4 of the Summer 2012-13 season. Make sure all your players, parents, coaches and team managers check to see where you are playing this Saturday 25 August!

Coaches passes can be collected from the trays at Greenvale Rec Centre from 5pm Thursday 23 August.

If you know of a player, parent, team manager or coach who is not getting these emails from our website, please let them know to register by clicking on the “Sign me up please!” button, on the right hand side of our home page.

Dates to remember – registration night, AGM plus others

Upcoming dates to remember –

  • Registration Night is Monday 6th August 5:30pm ~ 7:30pm at Greenvale Rec Centre.
  • Our Annual General Meeting is Wednesday 15th August and we are looking for nominations and attendees on the night to elect the new Committee.
  • Round 1 of the next Season will be Saturday 25th August
  • A Chocolate Drive will be conducted at the start of the Summer 2012/13 season – with distribution occurring the last week of August
  • The Club will be doing Team Photos next season, in mid October
